A rotten egg is the opposite of a good egg. It’s a bad person who cannot be relied upon and is likely to cause problems for you.
Examples of Usage of Rotten egg
Do you know he hasn’t even paid me for the work I did? What a rotten egg! It only takes one police officer to be shown to be a rotten egg, and the rest of the force gets tarred with the same brush.
