When something has been done extremely badly, we say that it’s a dog’s breakfast.
Examples of Usage of Dog’s breakfast
They claim to be professional painters but the outside of the house now looks like a dog’s breakfast and they’ll have to sue me for the money. She cut her hair herself and made a complete dog’s breakfast of it, but I didn’t have the heart to tell her. I told her a white lie, and said that it looked “interesting”.
