A cold fish is someone who is distant, unfeeling, and who is very difficult to get close to emotionally.
Examples of Usage of Cold fish
While she was physically attractive, emotionally she was a real cold fish. Beautifully shot, loaded with atmosphere and boasting perhaps Nicole Kidman’s best-ever performance, it’s still a cold fish of a film with zilch emotional resonance.
