Definition of Blue
Blue is the colour of sadness and melancholy. When you are blue, you are sad. When you have the blues, you are feeling unhappy.
Examples of Usage of Blue
Don’t feel blue because you’re in the red. Just work a little harder, make more money, and get yourself back in the black. When I’m feeling blue, all I have to do, is take one look at you, and then I’m not so blue.
