The British Idiom – Beached whale
Definition of Beached whale
Someone who looks like a beached whale is more than amply plump, to say the least. They are the sort of people who ought not to sunbathe on a public beach, lest a passing Japanese whaling ship should attemp to harpoon them.
Examples of Usage of Beached whale
